A COLOUR MEME
Somebody gave me this meme to do a long time ago and I apologize for not remembering who it was. I've searched but I can't find it anywhere. But I had made the entry and want to post it now. I'm trying to clean up some of my old "jobs".
Anyway, I was given the colour yellow. I was to list ten of my favourite 'yellow' things. If you'd like to do this meme too, you can leave a comment for me and I'll give you a colour.
So my ten favourite yellow things start with canaries. The rest are below the cut.

I also love yellow daisies.

And while we're on flowers, I like yellow daylilies also. (The ones in my garden are not in bloom yet, or I would have taken photos.)

I like birds, and another yellow variety is the goldfinch. This is also the official bird from the region where I live. We have tons of these birds around our house.

And how could I leave out baby ducks? They are so cute. We have lots of ducks around here too.

And what is a great invention from the past 50 years that has made our working lives easier?

I had to find a yellow food, and I guess the most basic one is butter. It's my spread of choice, and perfect for cooking, especially baking.

Now, I am a football fan, as you know, and one of my favourite Spanish teams is Villareal, who wear an all-yellow kit.

This is Santi Cazorla.

I am also a HUGE fan of the Colombia national team, who wear half a yellow kit.

And I'll end with my favourite hair colour: blonde. And nobody's hair is blonder than that of Carlos Valderrama (late of the Colombia national team) and possibly David Beckham (at one time). Here is a photo of both:

And another one of Carlos:

Love the pics of the birds that you posted! And you have tons of goldfinches around your house? I'M ENVIOUS! :D LMAO @ the baby ducks!
Mmm, butter. It's pure fat, but I do like it. XD
VILLARREAL! SANTI! :D I know now why you wanted me to see this post! :D Yellow kits are brilliant!

I love 'pictorial' memes since I love photos so much.
Yes, goldfinches are our official bird for this region!
Butter is fattening, yes, but it does make everything taste so good! :P
LOL...I LOVE that poster of Santi and thought you might as well!
Villareal's yellow kits are awesome...I do wish more teams would adopt it. In past seasons Spurs have had a yellow away kit but they did away with it this past year...I have no idea why! :(
