Diego Alves made some brilliant saves! The goals were kinda sad, but he saved some great shots.
Every time I see Deportivo, I'm still like, "I miss Felipe" :o( He was fun to watch.
SO. MUCH. HAPPINESS from the Madrid game! Not at the start, obviously, but boy did they rally to come back. It was messy, but it got better and I'm so proud of them :oD It was hard-fought.
Awesome picture! Thanks for sharing!
PS, I saw Radamel Falcao on TV today and immediately thought of you! He is the sweetest thing, and the way he talks is really interesting (weird way to put it. I don't know if it's his accent or his voice, or both).
Diego Alves is another one of those great goalies they have in Spain.
Awww...Deportivo. Some ppl on my flist don't like them but I think they are quite lovely...Felipe, Ze Castro, Guardado, Riki, JP Rodriguez, and Juan Dominguez. XD I think I'll make a Depor picspam! Their official site has beautiful photos on it!
That Madrid-Sevilla game was exceptional. The best I've seen in a long time. You have to hand it to Sevilla...they sure know how to play football! Ray Hudson (or maybe Phil) on GOLTV called it 'old-fashioned' but whatever...with wing players like Jesus Navas, Diego Perotti and Diego Capel, they just make games so exciting.
Omigosh! I saw an interview with Falcao on TV Friday night on a 'Champions League' magazine show! But I've seen him speak before in vids when he was with River Plate. Isn't he different? He's very professional (he ran a bible school or something like that for children when in Argentine) but so soft-spoken and almost childlike or something. But very fierce as a player. Goalkeepers hate him! Hahahaha. I LOVE him! He has a Colombian accent, tinged with a bit of Argentine, I think.
I thought for sure that Sergio's card (which never came, yay him!) was going to be because of a fight with Capel, lol. The two of them made me nervous for a bit. Sevilla are crazy to watch, and Navas is nuts (which is awesome)- they definitely do know how to play football. Ooh, I may have seen the same thing as you about Falcao. I'm pretty sure it was a Champions League thing too. His voice is kinda childlike, eh? It's kinda high, and you can hear the smile :o) The goal clips that they showed... oh wow, can I ever see why goalkeepers don't like him- he just doesn't stop.
I'm WAY behind on your picspams and I feel like shit about it. So sorry.
Love the pic of Messi protesting. ;)
Almería rock for wearing the pro-Chile shirts. Any particular reason why they did it and Barcelona didn't?
How annoying that Real got two goals against Sevilla. *sigh* (I REALLY don't like Sevilla.) But I'm happy that van der Vaart scored. It's about time the photographers realise that Real Madrid is more than just CRon. *nodnod* By the way, do you know why Álvaro was subbed out? I hope he's not injured or anything!
Aw, the pic of Marcelo glomping Iker. XD
Thanks for always sharing such awesome pics! *glomps*
LOL. Don't worry! I probably do too many picspams! I'll have to cut back. LOL.
There are always so many Barca pics and I try to save only the most interesting. I LOVED the one of Messi protesting. He always seems so sweet and meek like hardly anything ever bothers him, so it's interesting to see him peeved. :)
I have no idea why Almeria wore the pro-Chile shirts other than perhaps it is because they have a lot of South American players. Ten, actually, although not all starters. However, none are from Chile, so I don't know for sure.
I guess we'll have to disagree on Sevilla. I love the team for the way they play, mostly, and for some of their players. I would not have been too sad if they had beat RM again, although I did want RM to win and go top above Barcelona. So it was a good result and satisfying even for Sevilla because they showed what a tough team they are to beat. I've heard rumours that Real Madrid want Jesus Navas. I'm not sure I believe it though, because RM does not usually play with a right winger. The last time they did it was when Arjen Robben was there. It doesn't seem to be Perez' style, though, so I don't believe the rumour!
