CHAMPIONS - A PHOTO SPREAD

Now that MOST of the leagues are finished for the season (not ALL, mind you - some of the South American leagues have still to finish) I thought I'd do a photo recap of the winners so far. Also some of the teams in the lower leagues who have risen to the top once more (or in some cases, it's perhaps for the first time).

Starting with...yeah, baby, Atletico Madrid, 2012 winners of the Europa League!

In Mexico the league is not finished yet. The finals, over two legs, are between Monterrey and Santos Laguna. Santos won the first leg. But in the meantime, a new team will play in the Primera, having risen from the Liga de Ascenso, the Mexican second division.

That team is LEON! Let's welcome Leon to the Primera!

In Spain, Deportivo La Coruna has won the Liga Adelante championship, and along with Celta de Vigo and Real Valladolid, will return to La Liga.

In the EPL, Reading FC will be returning to the first division, as nPower champs.

This is their mascot Kingsley. XD

And West Ham has won the nPower playoffs in order to clinch the 3rd promotion spot along with Southampton, on a winning goal by Ricardo Vaz Te.

This is Ricardo Vaz Te. :P

On that note, I'm finished. Some of the other leagues have not quite finished establishing who the champion is, or who is moving up, but soon we shall know all! XD
