SHOOTINGS AND CHAOS DURING THE LAST ROUND OF PLAY IN MEXICO

So many security and crime problems in Mexico have created a terrifying scenario for football fans. A shooting occurred right outside the stadium during the Santos vs Morelia game last Saturday. Fans, players and referees took cover, even though the shootings were unrelated to football. Here is a link to an article and video about the situation.

A photo shows fans hunkering down inside the stadium after the players fled to the dressing rooms.

Fortunately, no one was hurt, although the game was suspended.
