TURKEY: UNDERDOGS: A PICSPAM

I haven't yet done a picspam on the Turkish National Team. So let me do one of their run so far in the Euros. Nobody expected them to get this far in the tournament, so what they've accomplished is quite impressive. I was rather upset when they beat Croatia because I'm a big fan of the Croatian team. But the Turkish team should be proud of themselves. It's interesting that 9 of their players are injured or suspended and that they may have to use their 3rd-string GK in the midfield. Today's game should be fascinating.

On a side note, I was so happy to discover that Roberto Rossetti will be refereeing the finals. I love Roberto Rossetti.♥

Aws: good luck to them! Even if they've got goalies out playing midfielder roles and more players watching from the bench than available to start . . . Poor puppies: they've been astounding so far :-).

Sorry, I hope they'll lose!

I wanted they to win!! because I love underdogs (yeah, besides Chile my favorites NT ever are Norway and Faroe Islands XD!). I cried at the end of the match... I like Germany a lot, bur I'd love to see a little less mainstream team in the final. Now go for Russia as the russophilic I used to be ;)

Come on! even the second kit for Turkey looks a little like the first one for Faroe Islands... *cries*

Ah! and Tuncay Sanli is <3

Turkey was a great team! What a revelation. I didn't really know anything about them before, but they're very good.

I can't help but think that it could easily have been Turkey in the final if they hadn't had so many injuries. They can be proud of themselves.
