I think it depends on the team these players are playing for. Some teams have the experience to handle the south american players very well and others not. For sure ALL players are very different and not all will be successful in Europe. Too many players get lost in some leagues with some shitty clubs and maybe because they are injured at the wrong time. (to be injured is always the wrong time)
Ignacio Piatti is first team player with Lecce (a really shitty team) but he can play!
James Rodriguez (Porto) is still 19 and his time will hopefully come! Maybe he will play the U20!!!
