I'm sick. I have some kind of virus/head cold thing that has made my nose swollen and sore on the outside of the nostrils, my right eye get all red and fill with pus and water incessantly, and I'm tired and achy and have to sleep a LOT.

I apologize in advance for any stupidity I might do/say whatever. :(

I missed out on being on BBC radio again! They wanted me AGAIN!!! I can't believe it. But I missed out. They tried to call me while I was at work yesterday, my husband was home and answered the phone and it was a producer from the show I was on during the WC and she wanted me but it was right away at that moment because it was a live show and my hubby didn't think he should give them my work number. Damn. I'm disappointed for sure.

Oh well. I am going to try and catch up on LJ before I feel the need to sleep again. zzzzzzzzz

Yes, it seems to be worse in summer. It's compounded by my allergies too, I think. Hence the watery eye (just ONE) and some other not-so-nice symptoms.

Aww man! That sucks that they missed you! :( And you were on the show before? How cool! :D What did you talk about and how did they decide to get a hold of you? That's really neat :)

Thank you. No, I haven't seen the doctor, because I work for a doctor and of course (as what usually happens) I don't get sick until I get home and I'm not at work to see him! And the last thing I want to do once I get home is go back there! LOL.

My husband gave me some allergy eye drops to use and they worked like a charm. Except they last only for a few hours, then my eye starts watering again, so I have to keep using them. They got rid of the redness, though. If it was a real infection then we also have some antibiotic eye cream here I can rub on it.

Oh gosh, yes. It was during the World Cup, so of course, you were offline. :(

I got an e-mail from a producer for BBC Radio in London who had found me via my LJ comm 4colombiafooty. They were doing a show called 'World Cup Have Your Say'. My entry about it is here:

Yes, thanks, I am feeling a lot better. XD

The radio program (it was live) took about a half an hour. I spoke for about 2-3 minutes I would guess and I was listening to the others some of the time as well. Then they would stop and take questions or comments from the audience. :) It was pretty exciting! :)

Ohhh that reminds me of a plague from hell that my family got back in april. We couldn't eat for 3 or 4 days either. All we could do was suck on freezies. It was awful and each of us lost 10 pounds! :(
