NATIONAL ANTHEM OF URUGUAY AND TRAINING PICS

While watching the World Cup games I've been enchanted by a few of the countries' national anthems. There is the well-known and beloved Germany anthem, Portugal's is also quite beautiful and stirring, and while the national anthems are ALL special, this one is my favourite:

I love the Uruguayan anthem. It's so wonderfully strange with its hour-long prelude. :D

And wtf @ myself, I really couldn't stop staring at Forlán when he was singing. There's something about the way his mouth looks when he talks that completely absorbs me.

I think I must make a post about anthems in my LJ soon, there are quite a lot of very good ones and some quite exceptional ones. :D
