FAVOURITE FOOTBALLERS PICSPAM - LETTER 'D'
I have TWELVE favourite footballers under 'D' in my pictures files! This is the list:
1. Dani Alves
2. Daniel Jarque
3. Daniel Van Buyten
4. Daniel de Ridder
5. David Bentley
6. David Silva
7. Ruben De La Red
8. Diego Alves
9. Diego Buonanotte
10. Diego Capel
11. Diego Klimowicz
12. Diego Milito
"Diego" is certainly a popular name! LOL.
1. DANI ALVES (Brazil - Sevilla)
Dani is one exciting player! He's one of the reasons why Sevilla is such a fun team to watch. I always find myself yelling at him from the comfort of my couch! I would have loved to have seen him play when I was in Sevilla last September, but unfortunately the week we were there was an International Week and the boys were off with their various National Teams. Anyway, here is Dani:

2. DANIEL JARQUE (Spain - Espanyol)
Daniel Jarque is someone you may not know that well. He's a fantastic defender for Espanyol, that 'other' team from Barcelona! I've had my eye on him for awhile.

3. DANIEL DE RIDDER (Holland - Birmingham City)
Daniel is so young and handsome he could easily be a model or movie star. There were a wealth of photos of him to choose from when compiling this picspam.

4. DANIEL VAN BUYTEN (Belgium - Bayern Munich)
Daniel is a defender for the biggest team in Germany. I realized while I was getting his pics ready that he's very photogenic. All of these photos, wallpaper, etc. are top quality.

5. DAVID BENTLEY (England - Blackburn Rovers)
When I first saw David Bentley I could see he was a star in the making. Supremely talented in open play as well as a fantastic free kick specialist, David has made the English national team for the first time this season.
Could he also be in the running to take over Freddie Ljungberg's role as underwear model? LOL.

6. DAVID SILVA (Spain - Valencia CF)
Awwww...with his little-boy good looks, David Silva is deceptively cute. He has a wicked left foot, having scored a wonder goal against Chelsea in the Champions League last season, and despite his small size he never backs down from doing defensive work or taking a hard hit.
One of the most dangerous players in Spain, he is not having such a great season at the moment, but that's down to the troubles on his team, not to him.

7. RUBEN DE LA RED (Spain - Getafe)
Here is a real heart-throb. He came to my attention once when he was with Real Madrid, and the camera panned over him while he was getting changed on the bench. It caught him in all his glory standing there in his tight white underpants, leaving nothing to the imagination on his incredible body. After that eye-popping incident, I was his. He can do whatever he wants with me, I am putty in his hands. LOL. All that aside, though, Ruben is an outstanding playmaker who is having a fantastic year with Getafe, one of those 'other' Madrid teams. Of note: ALL Madrid's three premier league teams are in the top 10 of La Liga. Now, that really is something.

8. DIEGO ALVES (Brazil - Almeria)
Diego Alves is a really good goalkeeper who is beginning to get noticed. He has helped a lot to keep the promoted team, Almeria, in good standing this year. Since I have a soft spot for keepers, Diego is fast becoming one of my favourites.

9. DIEGO BUONANOTTE (Argentina - River Plate)
Argentina is one of those countries who has an outstanding youth development system, and as a result, their players are always getting poached by teams from all over, but mostly Europe. Diego Buonanotte is fresh from the youth system of River Plate. He is only 19 years old and only 5' 3" (160 cm) in stature. But he is an exciting playmaker who was chosen to play on the first team this season.

10. DIEGO CAPEL (Spain - Sevilla)
Diego Capel is another excellent young player, but he is from Spain, not Argentina. Only 20, he is highly regarded for his quick pace and acceleration, and he can score goals too! He is a very exciting player to watch.

11. DIEGO KLIMOWICZ (Argentina - Borussia Dortmund)
Diego used to play for Lanus in Argentina before going to Germany where he played for Wolfsburg before joining Dortmund two years ago. He has been called the "super sub" for his ability to come off the bench and change things.

12. DIEGO MILITO (Argentina - Real Zaragoza)
Always a bridesmaid in the Spanish Pichichi race, it seems, this tall striker plays for a team that has done poorly this year despite having a strong, quality player in every position. Real Zaragoza has had all kinds of problems with coaches and players fighting with each other. I'm thinking that Diego might soon move on elsewhere, like his brother Gabi did, moving to Barcelona this season. I liked it better when they both played on the same team.

Okay, that's it for my long post! 'E' will be lots shorter!
