I'll watch the Colombian Copa Mustang more with the start of the new season and I hope Millonarios will play better!

Colombia played WC but already but they were not successful. Best what they archived was the Copa America win in 2001!

I remember Carlos VALDERRAMA!
They played 1998 in France - third place in group (lost against England and fucking shit Romania, won against Tunesia)
1994 in USA - fourth in group (lost against fucking shit Romania and fucking arseholes from USA, wom against Switzerland) poor Andres ESCOBAR!!!
1990 in Italy - third in group (lost against fucking Yugoslavia, tied with Germany and won against United Arab Emirates)

OMG! Is it Gerardo Bedoya? I still can't really tell because he is covering his face! I LOVE the banner! It's HOT!

Yeah, the Colombian team's history is very interesting! They have had their share of great players! Do you remember also the 'Scorpion King' Rene Higuita? He is still playing! A player-coach for Pereira in Colombia. He's a bad guy though, friends with Maradona. He's been in prison and has tested positive for cocaine. Quite a past!
I remember the WC 1998 but not before that! 1994 sounds like a bad year - I'm glad I forgot about that one!!! Hahahaha.

I guess the banner will stay for a very long time on my LJ! At first I had a smaller one but I had to made a bigger one... that's love.
Colombians have some crazy players. I have heard about Higuita. I loved Valderama for his 'craziness'!
When I heard about Andres Escobar I thought that couldn't be possible. But I heard more about Colombia and there is anything possible.
We don't know much about the life in Colombia and I guess it is not that simple to live there. I always complain about my shitty life, but really it's like heaven if you see how other people have to live.
Somehow I always loved the country and I remember watching football at the WCs.
Now with i-net and all the streaming I should be a very lucky person!
Let's watch, enjoy and love the wonderful football they are playing!

Oh yeah, it is easy to forget all about the colourful history of Colombia, but they do play beautiful football. On Sunday when I watched the Cali-Junior game and then watched Lanus-Velez, the difference really struck me. Both Colombians and Argentines have players that can run very fast. But the style of Colombian football is much smoother and more relaxed. In Argentina it is more wild and crazy. Both are passionate, with passionate fans, but the Colombians are still more laid-back than the Argentines. It's so very interesting.

I cannot wait for the final Copa Mustang game to see who wins (well, it will be two-legged) and for the new season to begin!

I went to the Millonarios site to see if they posted pics of their new kit but nothing was there since their last game! They usually have great pics of the new kit, with Bedoya one of the models! And that tall young guy with the interesting looks - Rafael Robayo.

I was confused! I ran to the TV, had forgotten about the Confed Cup game, then when I saw what happened I was glad I didn't watch it...looked for the Colombia game but it wasn't on! Because GOLTV was showing the Spain-USA game. Then I realized that the Colombia final (first leg) wasn't on until TODAY! But when I checked the TV listings I saw that GOLTV is going to show the Brazilian fuckers game TONIGHT and the COLOMBIAN game tomorrow night! *facepalm*
So I will find out result tonight but not be able to see the game until tomorrow! It doesn't matter what happens, Junior can come from behind like they did with Cali, and the second leg is at Barranquilla.

So what game did you see last night? Was it the Cali-Junior game?
